Project rescue — Celis, Seoul
Do not start over.
Half-built screens. A thread nobody answers. A repository nobody understands. We take over stalled projects and half-finished websites and carry them to launch, using what you already paid for.
Starting again is the last resort, not the opening offer. We open what is left, and the first thing you get back is a written diagnosis — not a quote for a rebuild.
Diagnose first
Before anything gets fixed, you get a document saying what is wrong. Read it, then decide whether to continue.
- 01
DiagnosisOne week
We open what exists and write down where it stopped and why, what can be saved, and what has to be rebuilt. You get that as a document, not a call.
The document is yours whether or not you continue with us.
- 02
RepairUsually two to six weeks
We work through the document in the order it sets, most urgent first. Every week you look at the repaired screens yourself. There is one place to ask, and the person answering is the person fixing it.
Stop at any point and everything repaired so far stays repaired.
- 03
HandoverFinal week
We leave it in a state the next person can pick up — what lives where, what not to touch, and why — written down rather than explained on a call.
If you want us to keep maintaining it afterwards, we can.
What lands on your desk in week one
A document, not a meeting. Read it and decide whether to continue with us or take it to somebody else — it is yours either way.
- Where it stopped, and why
- What can be saved and what has to be rebuilt
- The order of repair — most urgent first
- Time and cost, broken down by stage
- Whether it can go live as it stands, and what is blocking it if not
You pay after you have seen it repaired
We do not ask for your time under the heading of a free consultation. We change the order instead: you have already sat through the talking once, so this time the screen comes first.
No total before we have opened it
A number quoted without looking at the code has nothing behind it, which is usually why the last quote grew halfway through. The diagnosis fee is agreed before we start and does not move.
The diagnosis fee comes off the repair
Continue with us and it is deducted in full from the repair cost. Do not continue and you still keep the document.
You pay after you have seen the screens
Payment follows the repaired work, not a progress percentage in a status report.
It does not get passed on
The person who read your code is the person who fixes it. There is no handoff for anyone to disappear into.
Why this time is different
Your last agency also promised not to vanish. Promises are not worth much at this point, so here are only the things you can check.
Source and access in your name from day one
Nothing is held in our accounts. If we part ways, everything stays where it is and you can hand it to anyone. This is usually the thing you did not get last time.
A repaired screen every week
Not a progress report — a screen. You see what changed, in the browser, before the week is signed off.
The same person from diagnosis to handover
There is no account manager between you and the work, and no second agency downstream.
Common questions
What if you disappear halfway through, like the last one?
The answer is that we never hold the leverage. Source code and access sit in your name from the start, repaired work lands weekly where you can see it, and you pay after you have seen it. Walk away at any point and you keep everything repaired to that date.
Do we have to start over from scratch?
Usually not. A stalled project is normally a few things tangled together, while the screens and the accumulated data are mostly alive. If rebuilding really would be faster and cost you less, we will say so — we do not claim to save something that cannot be saved.
The code is a mess. Will you still look at it?
A mess is the premise of this work. Half-finished builds, code that passed through several hands, projects without a single document — they all start in the same place. Tidy code makes the diagnosis faster; untidy code does not disqualify you.
What does it cost, and how long does it take?
Diagnosis takes one week. The repair timeline and cost are set out stage by stage in the diagnosis document. We do not quote a total before opening the project. The diagnosis fee is agreed before we begin, does not grow during the work, and is deducted in full if you continue.
We have not finished separating from the previous agency.
We can start as soon as the source code and access are in your hands. If you are not sure what to ask them for, tell us the situation as it stands and we will send you the list.
Send it over as it is
Do not tidy anything up first. Tell us what you were building and where it stopped, and you will have a reply within one business day from the person who would do the work. If a call feels like too much, email alone is fine.
