Service — Maintenance
Maintenance, including sites we did not build
Launch is the start of the working life of a site, not the end of the project. We watch it, fix it, and keep improving it — and we take over sites whose original agency has stopped answering, without making you rebuild from nothing.
What you get
- Content changes, fixes, and small feature work
- Monitoring and response when something goes down
- Security checks and dependency updates
- Backups and a tested way to restore them
- Performance work as the site grows
- A regular report, if that is useful to you
What clients tell us before they hire anyone
The company that built our site has disappeared.
That is the most common way this service starts. We take the site as it stands, put access and ownership in your name, and carry on from there — a rebuild is the last resort, not the opening offer.
Bugs get reported and then nothing happens.
Outages and broken checkout come first, ahead of everything else in the queue. Not going quiet is the first commitment, and it is the one you can check within a week of working with us.
Every tiny change comes back with a large invoice.
You can work per request or on a monthly arrangement against a defined scope. A small change gets a small quote, and you are never asked to buy a year in advance to get one line of copy fixed.
How the work runs
- 01
Handover audit
We open what exists — code if there is any, the live site if there is not — and write down what is there, what is at risk, and what should be dealt with first.
- 02
Access in your name
Domain, hosting, and repository accounts are put in your name from the start. If you leave us later, nothing has to be pried loose.
- 03
Fix the urgent, then the structural
Whatever is broken or exposed gets handled first. Longer-term cleanup is scheduled rather than billed as an emergency.
- 04
Per request or monthly
Small changes can be requested one at a time. A monthly arrangement covers monitoring, updates, and an agreed amount of change work.
- 05
Report and review
You see what was done, what broke, and what we recommend next — in writing, at whatever interval suits you.
How the arrangement runs
There is no fixed project length. Urgent problems are handled the day they are reported; scheduled work runs against a monthly plan you can pause or end. You are not locked into a term contract to get a bug fixed.
What it costs
Most projects fall between $1,500 and $6,000, fixed price. Maintenance is quoted the other way around — per request for one-off changes, or a monthly amount agreed against a defined scope of work, so what you pay tracks what you actually ask for.

Common questions
Can you maintain a site somebody else built?
Yes — that is most of this work. We audit what is there and take it over. Having the source code makes it faster; not having it does not stop us.
How is it billed?
Per request or per month, whichever fits how often you actually need something. We tell you which one costs you less rather than defaulting to the larger arrangement.
What happens if the site goes down at a bad time?
Outages are prioritized over everything else in the queue. We will not always be online the second it happens — Seoul time runs ahead of the US and Europe — but a report sent at the end of your day is being worked on at the start of ours.
What if we want to leave later?
Everything is already in your name, so you take the domain, hosting, code, and documentation and go. No exit process to negotiate.
Send the URL and whatever access you still have. The first thing back is a plain read on the state of the site — including if it does not need us yet.
