Challenge

The original was a single introduction page, which left search engines almost nothing to index and left us with no way to see where an interested visitor gave up before getting in touch.

Solution

A rebuild on the Next.js App Router with dynamic routes for the journal, services, and case studies, generated metadata, a sitemap and robots file, every page pre-rendered at build time, and an enquiry form that asks about planning stage and timeline so a lead arrives with context attached.

Results

A Lighthouse SEO score of 100, an indexable surface many times larger than the page it replaced, and funnel tracking that shows where visitors stop instead of leaving it to guesswork.

A studio with no site of its own is a warning sign

Plenty of agencies build for everyone except themselves, and the tell is usually the same: an old template, a portfolio of screenshots, and nothing you can open. We build our own site, break it, and fix it in public, which means every claim on it has already survived contact with our own standards. The interactive 3D work, the custom shaders, and the five-stage scroll narrative on the Korean home page are not decoration for its own sake — they are the demonstration that this kind of work is something we do rather than something we describe.

Search visibility is architecture, not a plugin

A one-page site cannot rank for anything except its own name, because there is nothing for a search engine to land on. The rebuild fixed that structurally: separate routes for journal entries, service pages, and case studies, each with its own generated metadata, all pre-rendered at build time so a crawler receives complete HTML rather than an empty shell to execute. The sitemap and robots configuration are generated from the same data the pages are built from, so a new case study appears in both without anyone remembering to update a list.

What we learned that clients get for free

Adding planning-stage and timeline fields to the enquiry form changed the quality of what arrives more than any copy change did, and instrumenting the funnel showed us which section people actually leave from. Both of those are now the default on the sites we build for other people. This page is also the answer to a fair question about the rest of our portfolio: those are studio projects, and this one is a site we have to live with every day.

You are looking at the work. If it reads the way you want your own site to read, say so.
